Surroundings
The municipality is Zaccanopoli meaning from the Greek "city of sheep" indicating the prevalent pastoral activity that took place at the time and the population that was specialized in the production of cheese, known and appreciated throughout the Kingdom of Naples. Today Pecorino del Monte Poro. Its Belvedere located at the entrance to the town going up from Parghelia, allows you to admire Tropea from above and the Aeolian Islands in the background.
